Atvalio started with a question from practice: why is business software so often complicated, while the work does not get any better?

Why is software so hard?
We spent years bidding on European public tenders and private tenders ourselves, on the bidder's side. We know how many hours go into a good bid, and how many of them are spent digging, retyping and checking.
We are also on the innovating side: seeing opportunities, using them, and refusing to accept that things are the way they are. Those two things together, the practice of bidding and the drive to do it better, are the foundation of Atvalio.
The same question kept coming back: why is software so hard and complex? Packages promise to save time, but first ask for training, an implementation and someone to manage them. Too often they become one more cost instead of a help.
That conviction is where Atvalio started, with two goals. Make software simple, so everyone on the team can work with it. And help win: every feature has to contribute to a stronger bid.

Why Atvalio
Atvalio is a variation on add value. Then comes io, from input and output. What you put in should deliver more than it costs. That idea is behind every choice we make.
